If a Scan paused occurs, the site may have stopped responding during the scan.
Below is a list of possible causes and how to check the error content.

When a Crawl Error/Scan paused occurs, you can check the details of the error and how to respond to it from the notification (bell mark) in the upper left corner of the AeyeScan page.

■Error Cause and Action
When a crawl or scan fails and a Crawl Error/Scan paused occurs, the "Error Contents" listed below will be displayed.
The following is a description of each error and how to respond to it.
・When Crawl Error occurs
Error Content: When accessing the top URL, a status code of 401 was returned.
->Modify the Basic authentication information in the scan settings and rerun the crawl.
Error Content: When accessing the top URL, a status code of 404 was returned.
->Modify the top URL and rerun the crawl.
Error Content: When accessing the top URL, a status code of 403 was returned.
->Modify the top URL and rerun the crawl.
Error Content: When accessing the top URL of the manual crawl, a status code of 401 was returned.
->Modify the Basic authentication information in the scan settings and rerun the crawl.
Error Content: Connection to the top URL is not allowed.
->Modify the path settings in the crawl/scan target settings and rerun the crawl.
Error Content: Could not connect to the top URL.
->Modify the top URL and rerun the crawl.
Error Content: Unknown error occurred when connecting to the top URL.

■Using the "Connection Test" function
After setting up the scan, you can use the "Connection Test" function before crawling or scanning begins.
It is also possible to check if the top URL can be accessed with the scan settings you have set.
*We recommend that you do this if you are scanning a site for the first time.
To check the connection, click "Connection Test" on the "Crawl/Scan" page before starting the scan.
If status 200 responds as follows after the "Connection Test" is executed, the connection has been established normally.
Continue to crawl or scan.
If the following errors occur, you may need to review your settings.
・Cases of authentication failure("Status Code" shows "401_UNAUTHORIZED")
Please review the "Basic/Digest Authentication Information" setting in the scan configuration.
・Connection not allowed("Status Code" shows "ACCESS_DENIED")
Please review the "Crawl/Scan Target Settings" setting in the Scan Settings.
・Timeout occurs("Status Code" shows "REQUEST_TIMEOUT")
Please check if the site is accessible.
